The Loyalty Islands offer a whole new world to explore and only a 45 minute domestic flight from Noumea (daily flights). Mare, Lifou and Ouvea share an incredible natural beauty and are mainly populated by the warm Kanak people. In a line 100km off the east coast of Grande Terre, they’re all sparsely populated with secluded beaches, hidden caves and deep holes. Discover the caves of Luengöni or visit a vanilla plantation and enjoy a flavoured coffee in Lifou. Laze on Mouli beach and walk to the "Shark Nursery" in Ouvea. Share a moment with a tribe or stare into the void at the Warriors Leap in Maré. The three islands that cater for visitors are all distinctly different and each offers special experiences including stays in bungalows, fishing trips, diving / snorkeling trips and the chance to see sculptors and weavers at work.
