INTRODUCTION

Our Homestay & Immersion Package has been designed for adults at intermediate and advanced learning level. Our homestay partners are carefully selected to provide students with a safe and comfortable family environment in convenient locations. It is an ideal opportunity for students to progress their French language skills while making new friends. Planned 5 times a year by CREIPAC, Intensive Course for Adults are open to all levels. This comprehensive immersion features a 15 hour communication course (possibility to extend to 30 hour communication course), incorporating culture with language practice, according to the student's ability.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Auckland - Noumea

Fly directly from Auckland to Noumea with Aircalin. For students outside of Auckland, there are convenient domestic connections from other New Zealand airports. On arrival at Tontouta Airport you will meet your homestay family and be taken to your new home for the next 7 nights.

 

Day 2 to Day 7: Noumea

Each morning you will have breakfast with your homestay family then they will drop you off at CREIPAC for your French lessons from Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 11.45am including a half hour break.

 

Classes are conducted by a native French-speaking teacher at the CREIPAC Language School, the only government school specialising in the teaching of French to foreigners in New Caledonia. 

 

You will share dinner with the family and have a chance to practise all of the French that you have been learning in class. 

 

You will spend Saturday and Sunday with your host family and have a unique opportunity to experience what daily life is like for locals in Noumea.

 

Day 8: Noumea - Auckland

After breakfast this morning it is time to say "au revoir" to New Caledonia and transfer by coach to La Tontouta International Airport for your flight home.

 

ACCOMMODATION

Homestay

Stay with a family and experience the daily life of a New Caledonian. You will have your own bedroom in a house and eat breakfast and dinner with the family. In the morning they will drive you to CREIPAC for your classes and they will pick you up at a designated place and take you back home at the end of the afternoon. Our homestay partners are carefully selected to provide you with a safe and comfortable family environment in convenient locations.

 

*Optional 7 nights' hotel accommodation is available for students that would like to participate in the intensive CREIPAC French lessons however do not wish to undertake a homestay component.
